| Overview: Many schools now utilize computer assisted instruction software to assess a student's current level. Software such as this provides many detailed reports that can help teachers best meet their students' needs in the classroom. There are many types of such software: Successmaker, Accelerated Reader, Accelerated Math, Standards Master, Compass Learning, and A+ just to name a few.
Task: 2) If you are not familiar with the software at your school, seek out your school's contact for the software to have them assist you with learning the software and explaining the reports it can provide. 3) Use the reports to determine the type of information that can be gathered and used in meeting the needs of your students. 4) Write a reflection to outline the type of information gathered from the reports and who that information will assist you in meeting the needs of your students. 5) To receive CEU credit for your work, submit an electronic copy of your work to cphthisic@ecps.k12.nc.us |
