Goal 2: Planning and Designing Learning Environments and Experiences

Standard 2.D: Teachers plan and design effective learning environments and experiences supported by technology. Teachers plan for the management of technology resources within the context of learning activities.

Number of hours required: Minimum of 2
Number of CEUs to be awarded: Minimum of 0.2, Maximum of 0.5. Number of CEUs awarded will be determined by the number of strategies included.

**Note: No less that 0.5 CEUs can be submitted to Central Office for credit. If only the minimum requirements have been met, this task must be combined with another task(s) to total 0.5 CEUs in order to receive credit.

Overview:

When using integrating technology into your curriculum it is important to plan for the management of these resources. This could involve how students will move through computer stations, managing students in the lab, handling of equipment, etc.

Task:

2) Select ideas and/or management strategies that could be applied to your situation.

3) Write a reflection that summarizes what you learned from reading the article(s) and how this information can be applied to your classroom situation. (Minimum 300 words)

4) Cite the web sites using APA style. An easy citation guide can be found at http://www.citationmachine.net
