Students use an excel spreadsheet to answer questions based upon the cell name (A2). Open and save the spreadsheet to your computer. Print a copy of the questions and have the students answer the questions. |
All About Me Database |
This is a simple data collection activity that gives students practice in entering information in a database. To use this activity with students, set up the database on one computer in your classroom. Have them enter the data early in the morning or at different periods throughout the day until all students have entered their information. The questions on the 3-5 math page for the 5th grade census can be modified to go along with this database. |
